>>12539220are you making fun of me for not posting an arcade cabinet or just associating frasier with the pseudointellectual snobbery of earthbound fans?
In King of Queens there is a bar they hang out at that even by the final season (2007) there was still a Sega Saturn kiosk in the background, Spencer plays it in one episode
The show isn't retro, but Dexter: Original Sin had a Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja cab.
>>12539108I remember a thread(maybe on here?) years ago where anons tried to find out what game that cab belongs to. I do not believe we ever found out.

I've been trying to figure out the absolute earliest video game cameos in movies. So far I think Sœylent Green and The Last Detail (both from 1973) have to be the earliest, Computer Space from 1971 appears in both. The Parallax View (1974) has a scene with Pong or a Pong clone, I think it might have been Williams' Paddle Ball from 1973 but I can't remember. And then Jaws and Rancho Deluxe both from 1975 have Computer Space and Pong respectively.
>>12538856As a britbong, Danny Dyer bringing an Alpha 3 cabinet into the Queen Vic was a beautiful moment.
Joust cabinet in that weird Columbo episode with Fisher Stevens (who was later in the live action Mario movie)

>>12539457I am 99.999% sure its a bootleg Future Spy
>>12539457was neo-geo forums iirc
>>12539767There's also the Killer Shark machine. It was an electromechanical game but I think it still counts. It was actually a kind of outdated game by the time the movie came out but Steven Spielberg couldn't pass up the chance to include it since it fit perfectly.
not sure what the one on the left ispole position and galaga golden age early 80s gameslethal enforcers forgettable light gun game from the 90s

>Inb4 frogger and simcity on the NES
>>12540429Seeing them playing that Star Wars game blew my mind as a kid. Wish I got the chance to try it.
>>12539012It's weird, I used to see real Ms. Pac-Man cabs everywhere for the longest time. Nowadays, I tend to see the "Class of '81" Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga cabs more often.
I can't be arsed to find it now and you probably don't know the show anyway but somewhere in Byker Grove, Jake was playing Shadows of the Empire on PC
>>12538856theres a guy with a youtube channel dedicated to identifying what game they're playing in shows/movies. i dont remember what its called, but it came across my feed a couple of weeks ago.
The middle.Axl and his father meet up in a bar after Axl decided to skip school. There's a Cadillac n dinosaurs.I thing it was the season 4 episode 6-13 or 16. I can't remember
>>12540434Only they could write an episode revolving around a Frogger high score that's a fan favorite.
does this count? obviously doom ii is real but the cabinet was only made for the movie (grosse pointe blank)
