Did you ever get swindled purchasing games back in the day? In grade school, my friend was hyping me on King of the Monsters saying it was super cool and what not. I saw the SNES version at Walmart one day, so I snagged it. Man, was I disappointed when I got home. That was the worst $20 I ever spent. I later tried to sell it at a pawn shop, but all they offered was $4 despite it being complete and barely used. My mom said no. I still have it to this day.

king of the monsters was amazing for like the first 10 minutes. but yeah it gets super reptitive fast.
>>12543098Maybe the arcade version, but the console ports are just bad. They even cut two of the characters.
>>12543054I paid a girl 25 cents fοr her brother's gameboy color cartridge of SpongeBob
>>12543098It's one of those "cool concept, not actually very fun to play" games. Works okay as an arcade game where you can toss quarters at it until it stops being fun.
>>12543294So you did the swindling there.

>>12543054i bought an Adventures of Dizzy platform game diskette for like 8 bucks or something. it wasn't that good and i got stuck. i also couldn't install it on my younger uncle's CGA PC, so i had to install it on my other uncle's better PC. apparently latter Dizzy games didn't support CGA graphix at all.
>>12546602Dizzy is awful eurojank. Paying any amount of money for one is a rip off.
