My 70 year old Grandma was completely addicted to this game in the early 2000s. She would be on the family computer at all hours of the night playing it. I would wake up at 3am to use the bathroom or get some water and she would be there playing Snood without fail every night, I don't even know when she would sleep.

If it wasn't Snood she was playing Stack Columns, which after doing research did not have a PC version so that means my 70 year old Grandma had somehow set up MAME all by herself because I certainly didn't have it installed and didn't really know about emulators yet myself. She would always go on about not being able to beat Mr. Babu in that game.
