>>12548239I didn't really like it either, it wasn't just a frustrating piece of shit, but the levels don't really have a good flow to them/level design just feels very nonsensical/haphazard. At the same time, I can see how compared to the simplicity of NES games, how a kid would love something like SMB3 because it's very long, challenging, with a ton of secrets and replayability, and you would get stockholm syndrome reinforcing it into your core memories. I still prefer SMB1 though, it just feels a lot more fundamental in terms of design.

Harder than CV1, CV3JP, Mega Man 1-6, Zelda 1+2, Shatterhand, Kirby's Adventure, Contra and Super C, NG1, Rescue Rangers 1+2, Ducktales 1+2, Jackal, Gun.Smoke, Silver Surfer, etc.Obviously stuff like Battletoads and CV3US and GnG are harder.
