Replaying it again and it's still a masterpiece and the best game ever made, I can't believe a game as good as this was rushed and made under 1 year yet the remake made in 20 years with no deadlines was completely butchered.

The fact that to this day nobody else tried something like it shows the dedication the developers had with the schedule system. The way the world is crafted and timed in different real-time (as in, actually rendered in real time, you can see a literal living world unfold during the course of 3 days in-game) it's just crazy.
And to think the original plan was to make it 7 days.
I had a lot of fun figuring out everything on my own, by figuring things out with the bomber book.
It's a kind of game that might never be replicated.
