I swear Nintendo power straight up lied about these before coming out and claimed Spyro Orange was going to be a 2D scroller and Crash Purple was an isometric platformer. I remember nothing of it being stated they were just terrible mini game collections.

It would be fun to seem them switch level designs in, see Crash in a collectathon and Spyro in an obstacle course.
Spyro was going to be in Crash 5 but who knows how they would've handled it.
