I LOVE MML2.I love the graphics, ost, areas, the bosses, the weapons, the plot, the pacing, the dungeons, the controls, the aiming system...I just love MML2.
>>12549989MML2 considers you merely a friend though.
Reject womenEmbrace the monke
>>12549989Me too, arguably 1 has the better story but for me 2 has the better everything else. And I'm just going to say it, I absolutely LOVED the underwater dungeon. That feeling when I finally go back to the surface after such hardship, and a bossfight at the top to boot (which I messed up once which made me redo a whole chunk), and got to finally see sunlight again; it really felt immersive like I had really gone dungeon crawling myself. More dungeon crawlers need things like that, sighs of relief and breaths of fresh air after a long and hard dungeon.
>>12550005Choose wisely though>>12550023Underwater dungeon is my favorite. That huge vertical area where you jump into the abyss? Priceless.God bless you anon.
>>12550038>That huge vertical area where you jump into the abyss? Yeah I love that part. With the rollerblades you can jump through the entire area in slow mo it's amazing, and sequence break in the process too.
>>12550023>I absolutely LOVED the underwater dungeonSame. The part where you get to the room with the swimming reaverbot and the music slows down was pure kino. On that note, so much of MML2 is kino, it's definitely the PS1's Odyssey.
>>12550038monke :)
Most fuckable retro monkeys?
>>12549989the cover sucks. so here's this
>>12550159and here's one for episode 1.
>>12550167For the Australian POPStarter users out there
I like to think they did get Megaman back from the moon and formed a thruple, and that also I’m Megaman.
>>12549989I like MML2, however I feel like it's a big step down from MML1. They increased the scope of the story at the cost of the intimate interconnected world of the first game. Wasn't a big fan of the "mini-worlds" approach they took with the sequel. I think if the sequel took the approach of exploring a new island, and just a single island like the first game it would have been better.
>>12550170BestHere's a higher quality
its almost criminal how much soul mml1&2 have
>>12550005>>12550123monkey!
MML3
>>12550363Do you want to die?
>>12550162What the hell is 1.5? The Misadventures of Tron Bonne is a prequel not an interquel? And who the fuck is in the plane?
>>12550368no, I just want my boy back from the moon
>>12550023i vastly prefer 1's interconnected world dungeon
>>12550383In between 1 and 2https://tcrf.net/Proto:Mega_Man_Legends_2/Rockman_DASH_2_-_Episode_1:_Roll-chan_Kiki_Ippatsu
>>12550502Your mum is interconnected
>MML2’s ending was intended to be final >the world is saved, the villains and heroes are working together now, and all loose ends have been tied up >we can assume that Roll and Tron manage to successfully bring their boy back with their new Elysian friends >everyone lives happily ever afterThis is the only way I can cope with living in this cursed timeline.
>>12550383Basically, it was a playable demo of MML2 with an excuse plot of Tron threatening to kill Roll if Rock doesn't join her. You can agree and get a funny scene of the two of them romantically shooting everybody before you're forced to refuse her anyway.
never ever
I played this game for the first time just last year and I already feel a ridiculous level of nostalgia for it. It happened to hit at a time of some pretty big life changes for me too so it somehow transcended time and made it as emotionally accessible to me as games were when I was a kid. I just love how alive worlds like this feel. Roaming around in the woods, poking through the shopping market and reading all the things. Absolute kino ambient soundscapes.
>>12549989Dioes MML2 have a comfy town to chill in like MML1 did? I beat one and right now burning thorugh Tron Bonne Misadventure before going into MML2 but I just loved MML1's little town thing, anything like that?
>>12551626I call it a microcosm game. The lesson everyone should learn from this game, is that having a dense and interesting small area with lots of character is infinitely better than a giant soulless open world. MML2 highlights this because by going bigger the experience and setting were less interesting.>>12552187not really
>>12552618That's a shame, might explain why everyone talks about Mega Man Legends 1 and no one talks about Mega Man Legensds 2 or Tron Bonne
The snowy town at the start of the game is pretty cozy
>>12552691That "everyone" you're refering to is people praising the cozy feeling of the first. At the same time "everyone" is also praising the aiming system and controls of the second one.Everyone. Worth? Status? Consensus? Ign score?
>>125526912 is still a good game. But it's 1 that you'll feel nostalgic for.
>>12552720>>12552802I ain't knocking 2, I have not played it yet so I want to know what I am getting into. I loved one for it's vibes, I wonder if 2 has those vibes also. I never see any "iconic images" or gifs of that game it's always MML1.
>>12549989The vibes were just right. Fans did take it as far as they could, but sadly never enough to get more from this line of games.
>>12552960DSo play it and then come back
>>12549989looks like bomberman hero mixed with super mario sunshine
>>12549989I kinda prefer MML1's shooting since you didn't have to constantly hold down the lock on button to shoot enemies. You just needed to put them at the center of the screen.
>>12549989I kinda prefer MML2s targeting since you didn't have to constantly center the screen to shoot. You just needed to press a button to target enemies.
>>12549989Where exactly is that in the game?
>>12553576the kids house in the same island where glyde fortress is
