I made a polygamist Sims family with a man and his two wives, and it's working out really well.
>>
File: privacy fence.jpg (146 KB, 679x602)
146 KB JPG
From the street, the household appears to be two separate houses, with a tall privacy fence between them.
>>
File: bedroom doors.jpg (241 KB, 952x736)
241 KB JPG
However, in the backyard area, the master bedrooms each have a side door for easy access between the buildings.

It all started with Steward and his wife Dane. I built their modest house on one side of the lot and left the other half undeveloped.
>>
File: Lisbeth.jpg (125 KB, 757x501)
125 KB JPG
It wasn't long before a pretty young Sim named Lisbeth happened to walk onto their lot and Steward struck up a conversation. Before long he had built a mirror image of their current house so he could have a comfortable place to woo Lisbeth without Dane getting jealous.
>>
File: Elissa.jpg (109 KB, 630x473)
109 KB JPG
Fortunately for Dane, she was able to secure her status as first wife when they welcomed their first child, Elissa.
>>
File: Lucas.jpg (143 KB, 804x482)

A few days later, Steward and Lisbeth had their first child, Lucas.

By the time Steward Jr. "Junior" Bygamme came along, he would already have THREE older siblings!
>>
File: Fluffly.jpg (137 KB, 821x501)

The second daughter was the second wife's, and after Melody appeared in a puff of confetti, I decided they could use a pet, so I temporarily took down the "No Pets" sign that keeps stray animals from loitering on the lot just to see what would show up.

A few days later one of the default stray cats wandered onto the lot and got along extremely well with Melody. I left their interactions hands-off to see what would happen, and shortly after the cat was living in the household and Melody plays with it as soon as she gets home from school each day.

Nobody else in the family really interacts with the cat, but Steward pets it sometimes.
>>
File: kids rooms.jpg (433 KB, 1179x884)
433 KB JPG
With such a big household, I added second levels for the kids' rooms, with adjacent bathrooms in each house. The master bedrooms each have an attached bathroom with a bath/shower combo but it's still somewhat of a chore managing everyone's hygiene and bladder. I'm thinking about doing some minor renovations to the back sides of the houses and adding on additional bathrooms on the main level.
>>
File: arts.jpg (131 KB, 740x424)
131 KB JPG
No televisions in this household! All of the Fun objects on this lot are activities that increase skills (even though the child Sims don't have skill points like the adults). They have the nicest bookcase to help ensure they all have "A" grades, because every few days one of them gets left behind when the school bus leaves and that kills their grade.
>>
File: gnomes.jpg (135 KB, 706x532)
135 KB JPG
The majority of the household income is generated through the completely broken wooden gnome crafting table. The gnomes sell for 10 Simoleons x the Sim's current Mechanical skill, but the object also improves the Mechanical skill with use. Each morning, both wives go to the kitchen and starts preparing multiple group meals, then one of them goes to the backyard and starts grinding out gnomes while the other deals with the rest of the house.

They even have matching tables for times when both wives are free.
>>
File: gnomes 2.jpg (221 KB, 1030x809)
221 KB JPG
Once their Mechanical skill gets maxed out, they can bang out more than a dozen gnomes a day, with only one break in the middle to eat lunch. Because they have a nice yard with the crafting tables next to the pool, the high Room rating keeps them happy while they stand working all day. It's also easy to put it down on short notice, in case something happens where another adult Sim is suddenly needed.
>>
File: Steward.jpg (114 KB, 783x666)
114 KB JPG
Daddy's home! It's the man himself!

Steward drifts from career to career every few days, but he stays employed to keep up the pretense of being the breadwinner. Right now he's working as a carnival barker.
>>
File: bacon.jpg (201 KB, 1035x706)
201 KB JPG
Typically he switches careers after something delays him leaving for work for two days in a row and he gets fired, but this job seems to have hours that work for him.
>>
File: bedtime.jpg (418 KB, 1190x883)
418 KB JPG
As you can see from their Friendship ratings, he's getting along very well with both his wives. The wives both have high Friendship ratings with each other because they spend so much time on the same lot and get segregated to their respective houses as soon as Steward gets home so they never see Steward kissing the other one.
>>
Just realized I'm retarded and wrote Lizbeth as "Lisbeth" all the way though.

Anyway, that's my Sims game at the moment. What do your lots look like?

50% increase in gnome production with just one more wife
>>
I would make a goth lesbian couple (one with green skin) and would cum buckets when making them woohoo. Beautiful times.
>>
>>12550837
I do have plans for adding a third wife. Steward is the only one who uses the pool, and only occasionally. No one uses the volleyball net, so the next big renovation (besides the bathrooms) will be shrinking the pool area and putting in a third house where the volleyball net is.

File: StarLite Motel.jpg (358 KB, 1193x735)

My other big household is the StarLite motel, where every day is the weekend for someone!

The lovable ne'er-do-wells of this lot all live in a motel with limited access to the typical household amenities, and only occasionally go to work, but it's usually enough to pay the bills.
>>
File: entrance.jpg (368 KB, 1179x753)

There are eight rooms, four on each level, accessible from the walkways on the front side of the building.
>>

There's also a grill on the second level.

I bet you use Rosebud too.

Cute house though. I wish The Sims 1 had developed some way to do actual apartment style housing for multiple unrelated families on the same lot, or tracking family trees.

casual.
Also sims1 is piss easy if you abuse downtown/magic lots and ignore jobs then go for broken shit like gnomes/rain of riches/video sets
There's no need for genie lamps, tons of other ways to break the game anyway

Sadly, i have 23 word docs about sims stories that only i have access and never shared with anyone.
I'm such a fucking loser.

who cares, as long as you're having fun that's all that matters

Female sims players scare me. It is either 13yo jenny playing house which is fine or it is 20yo jenny who spends 15-20 hours crafting a soap opera style idyllic life for her family and the neighbourhood....then the betrayals start. This escalates to people dying, the children being taken away and the total destruction of what once seemed like several perfect marriages. The worst part? Jenny will do it again in a new town with glee on her face.

I was roleplaying a serpentine mutant-hybrid in a certain game...
Initially i was very friendly, made some friends by promising protection, shared gear shelter, etc. All was going well.
But then, winter came, things got desperate and i ended up killing all 3 for sustenance
Then i made a little burial to honor their deaths and my character grieved for them for days.
Engraved their names on my favorite weapons and paid tributes whenever i could.

That's when i realized: Ok, i really need to get laid.

Immersion is a hell of a drug

I'm sorry for my brain actually trying to grasp the situation.
I actually thought the tradwife was just a human incubator
and the hunter gatherer gnome craftswoman was a breadwinner and occasional plaything
Traditional gender roles did a number on me

OP here, I sometimes forget their birth order.

>also, there's cat poop in the kid's bedroom
The cat knows where Melody sleeps and always carries its dead mice there. Usually it poops outside and then buries it, which deletes the poop.

A couple years back I created a family consisting of myself, my younger cousin, and our two best buds. Two of us worked during the day and two worked at night. It was my first serious attempt at playing without cheating and without abusing the gamebreaking shit. Shit got pretty tedious at times, to be frank, but still, I got rather far with that setup, and so I consider it close to a success run.

Sadly, some time after starting that household, my cousin passed away under tragic circumstances, and I've not had the heart to load the game since.

Ok so, this is the story of Eugene, 73, an old stone mason

>Eugene is a shy stone mason known for his knowledge and affinity with granite
>He's mostly known for his punctuality and cobblestone pavers

>One day, the shady mayor of MagiTown, Valdus, made an offer of §100,000 to
>Eugene, reluctantly, accepted the offer. Not because he needed money, but because he felt nostalgic about his days in the field
>Valdus hired 5 servants and left him the architectural plans and all necessary equipment
>Eugened noticed the tools had an irresistible charm to it, like he felt young again
>He's even managed to charm a divorced 46 year old mother he'd always wanted to be with
>Everything was going great, he never felt more alive

>As the project was nearing its completion, Valdus became increasingly more snarky and seemed to mock his impressive masterwork
>His payment came through in a beautiful stone chest, weirdly mirroing his work, as if it was plucked from the walls he helped build
>The tools were there too, weird.
>Two weeks later, he seemed more reclusive and started complaining of body aches
>He could've sworn he saw his hands turn to stone....
>The doctors found nothing, just prescribed general painkillers and sent him his way home
>We was becoming increasingly more moody and eventually retreated to loneliness again.

>One day, he tried to get up the bed and fell down
>He saw a lot of stone rubble beneath what once was his legs
>He tried to scream for help, but his mouth couldn't move
>He was at rest with his life work... literally.

>Days later, a firefighters were called in to investage a loud noise northwest
>They found his stone house - all nothing but rubbles and no traces of him

>Some say he was driven mad... Or sang a swan's song and departed peacefully
>But Valdus knew the truth...
>>

>One day, the shady mayor of MagiTown, Valdus, made an offer of §100,000 to build a beautiful estate northeast of town
