Playing through 2 atm, enjoyable but it took me a bit to warm up to all the different combat changes (additions). I admit the charm of the first game isn't carried over but the gameplay itself is way more fluid/less jankyThat said, I thought the first was really solid once you familiarized yourself with the general mechanics. The difficulty curve was also solid: found every stage increasingly challenging but never controller-flinging level frustrating (probably not a hard game overall by any means but whatever)
>>12553174The first one played like a generic TPS game, something like Max Payne. The sequel tried to be DMC, and it never clicked with me, I dropped it halfway through, I think this was when you finish the sewers and emerge in a public park or something, the enemies had got really spongy by that point, so I gave up.
