Yeah, it kinda is. FM Towns Marty was released 8 months prior, and that had a 386. (Which is funny, because that means FM Towns Marty is 32-bit in the modern x86 sense.)

Yes - a total piece of shit.

However, I'm fascinated by the CD32 version of Captive 2: Liberation. I actually owned that game, but a cut down floppy disc version for the Amiga 1200. The CD32 version only adds video intro and audio as far as I know, but it's still the version I want to play. Apparently the game isn't that great; it's procedurally generated, with no real progression from one level to the next, but my kid memories remember being engrossed by it.
