England's favorite beloved anthro egg comes to the NES.

This game is as rough difficulty-wise as any of the home computer originals although the presentation and whatnot is far better. They did make things a little easier in that you only need to collect 125 stars instead of 250 like in the computer versions.

must be the only exposure American kids got to this franchise

German vidya is much much worse than Brit vidya.
>>
>>12554242
they have extensive censorship laws for vidya content and the fact that German culture is just extremely autistic and Reddit-tier

Disgusting design. That said, he did have the better games out of the two.

Was this like some sort of catastrophic event in the UK?
>>
Camerica cranked out a bunch of unlicensed NES games--Bee 52 seems to be the most common one probably because it was the smallest ROM size out of their games so cheapest to produce. I don't think I've ever seen a Dizzy cart irl, although Bee 52 carts are abundant and I've rarely seen a used game store or flea market without them.

Dizzy The Adventurer is an Aladdin Deck Enhancer exclusive, and Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy got released both for the Aladdin and as a standard cartridge. I wonder which type of cartridge they made more of for Fantastic Adventures

https://nescartdb.com/profile/view/350/bee-52

as far as i know it's the only CHR RAM game with less than 128k ROM. note that unlicensed carts never use Japanese components because none of them were willing to piss off Nintendo by supplying stuff for unlicensed game manufacturers.

Micro Machines was reported to not work on some consoles due to some odd programming tricks it does, but turns out that only affected early Famicoms from the first two years of production and is a total non-issue on all NES and the vast majority of Famicoms.
>>
>>12555534
it was the same there as well. some unlicensed Famicom games existed, all FDS titles as nobody wanted to supply cartridge components for those.
>>
>>12554146
other than that it's like every other Dizzy game. go around, solve nonsensical puzzles, and die cheap deaths.

I still don't know how the UK was making so much incredible music during this time then utterly dropped the ball on any sort of video games. It's not even like Japan where obviously the games were excellent, but city pop is a genre propped up by trannies and people who never got over the vaporwave days

So the egg obsession is a European as a whole thing and not just a British thing

This game was so beautiful. Never got anywhere though.
