>>12556029The real biggest problem is related to that but actually its the fact that the game is just a remake of gen 1 in general. pokemon died when they decided all pokemon is from now on is spawning in to a 3 building town as a 12 year old child, receiving 1 of 3 pokemon of fire, water, grass, and going out to defeat exactly 8 gyms then defeating exactly 4 elite trainers and a champion at the end. Its literally the most creatively bankrupt media franchise in history and people think that it cant be any different. There is no reason why 10+ games in a franchise need to have identical plots.
