Okay Sega shills, I got me own Saturn, so you better recommend me some good fucking games!
It came with the 3d controller, but I would like to get the normal one, and also it came with this arcade stick but I don't really care about that shit.

Recommend me some racing and platformers! And don't say clockwork knight or Astal, those games are mid

Are all segafags fucked up in the head or something?
>>
>>
>>12555476
Cool, I didn't come with a lightgun but I like those. I'm also eyeing that Manx TT game, looks cool
>>
>>12555476
I'd only ever played Bug!, I hadn't realized how much of a step up the sequel was visually, kind of impressed, maybe I'll give that a go.
>>
>>12555480
Second Best Shmup on the system, only beaten by Radiant Silvergun IMO.
>>
>>12555505
Bug Too! is awesome, really cool level designs and music.

Another good one worth playing

Really? Cool, I'm just not good at fighting games but I wanna play fighters mega mix because of the Daytona car
>>
Op here again, how do I play games with multiple discs? I wanna play Sakura wars but I don't know how the disc swapping is going to work with the SD card

I'm playing MegaMan 8 right now, I always wanted to play this one for the extra stuffs. Also I'm surprised at how similar is this controller's d-pad to the 360 controller, people always bitch about the 360 d-pad but both are fine

elevator action returns is what you want. Necronomicon too. The soundtrack is by dreamtheater.

It can play many other kinds of games.
For the Saturn I recommend Die Hard Arcade.

My game froze ;_; , the audio messed up and then the graphics glitched. I wonder what went wrong

For some reason the games boot up fine but eventually they begin to glitch up and eventually freeze or I get sent back to he main menu. It uses Fenrir for reading roms from a micro SD card and it has a program called pseudo Saturn Kai lite. Now I'm gonna frank, I don't know a single thing about Saturn modding and stuffs, does anyone knows what could be the problem?

Make sure your SD card is not some off-brand crap, format it to FAT32.

Platformers, arcade racing games and srpgs are my favorites I'd say
>>
>>12556281
You should definitely play Shining Force III then, and Vandal Hearts if you haven't played the PSX version (Saturn version is better). Saturn has quite a lot of SRPGs actually but most of them are JPN only and untranslated.

For platformers you might like Willy Wombat and Keiou Yuugekitai - Katsugeki-hen (Keio Flying Squadron 2) (Japanese version has a translation now) and Clockwork Knight 1 & 2
Pandemonium is always great also if you haven't played it on PSX/PC

Saturn looks so much better when it's not trying to smear full 3D pixels on your face
They should've gone for that direction instead of mangling classic games with shitty home ports like daytona
Or at least, leave the thing in the oven for a couple of months
>>
>>12556297
It's better balanced thanks to not getting free exp in the Trials map, it has new spells which are nice and make some otherwise lesser jobs more useful, and the 3D looks better because the polygon and textures don't get distorted every time the camera zooms and pans (which happens a lot when using spells).
That and there are extra maps as well though admitedly they're nothing special.
The only downsides are:
- lack of dynamic lights in some places like the train level
- lack of graphics for items/equipment

>>12556410

you're on /vr/, everyone here is either a poorfag, thirdie, loser, manchild, long past its prime, essay tourist, veetard, console war veterans or contrarian.

wealthy kids or trust fund babies are not into retro games and that grip is rigid as hell. good luck with alightment and drawing long straight lines without having to re-adjust every so often.

i formatted the sd card, download the firmware for mt fenrir model (it's a 21pin duo but for some reason the menu says it's a 20), opened up the saturn and checked the connections and... the same issues still happen. I don't know what else to do besides getting a new sd card just to try
