I'm planning a get-together with friends (four of us in total) and we usually play through a bunch of games, tournament style. I'm looking for more suggestions, since the current playlist is starting to get a little stale. We usually play some combination of the following:- Mario Party 2/3/4 (sometimes newer ones)- Mario Kart 64- Crash Team Racing- Crash Bash- Bomberman 64- Wrecked Revenge Revisited (PS3 store, micro machines clone)- Smash Bros (various)What are some other retro vidya that would suit playing with friends? I'm thinking of adding Halo 3, Guitar Hero III, Bishi Bashi etc.Are there any hidden gems? Also open to drinking style games (Beerio Kart comes to mind).
>>12564292Does Gauntlet: Legends count?
>>12564424Great game but not exactly for a tournament setting. Maybe great for afterwards. Unless it has some battle mode I don't know about.

If you guys are down to play through an actual game(not a diss I just mean a non-party game) Goemons Great Adventure for N64 has a 4 player simultaneous co-op mode. Unfortunately it has to be unlocked by beating the game by yourself but there's a patch you can find that just unlocks it from the get go or you can download a save file. It's a really great game single player and co-op, one of the best on the system IMO.
>>12564472oh shit I didn't even think of mario baseball. Strikers is something we've played before and really enjoyed too. Thanks anon>>12564486Any suggestions are fine, thanks anon
>>12564490For 4 players there's also the obvious N64 shooters, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and the Turok games. All super fun with friends. The N64 wrestling games are also a load of fun, like No Mercy, but the controls and figuring out the moves could be confusing for anyone that isn't already familiar. Didn't see you mention Diddy Kong Racing so that's a really good one too, it's battle modes in particular are a ton of fun it has a few to chose from.
How do you feel about the 4-player in Star Fox 64 or DK64? You clearly have a 64. PS3 has a fun Smashlike that I had fun in uni with friends playing but it's not retro.
