One of those games that was really hot on home computers but when ported to consoles it was shown for being incredibly mediocre and only highlighted how hungry computer users were for console-style side scrollers.

I played it. It was mostly hot because of the license, the only version that wasn't "pretty bad" at best was the Amiga one.
