love Adventure to the core, never got the hype for SS, found K64 enyoyable and on paper KDL3 should be the best but I never click with it

dreamcourse is fun, as well as the GC minigame

3DS version is the best way to play Kirby's Adventure, since it's not emulated at all and doesn't suffer the NES' limitations.
Only downside is a slightly dark background, that was done to emphasise the 3D effect.

I don't. The fun of Kirby for me is getting to swap entire fighting game-like movesets on the fly, which is only a thing in SS and a whole lot of not /vr/ entries. The Amazing Mirror to some extent as well.
