Holy fuck Wiegraf really doesn't fuck around.Currently a lvl 33 Samurai, thankfully I've been keeping old saves just for this case since I remember my brother having to cheese this fight way back when. Currently just grinding random battles but the JP gain is really slow for certain jobs. Should I be the job that I want JP for or can I just use relevant job skills? What are some of your favorite job combos? My team is currently>Ramza Samurai with 2hands and Guts>Summoner with time magic>Priest with black magic>Ninja with steal/item>AgriasI'm thinking about benching Agrias to build another physical tank, maybe a monk or dragoon.

Just use guts to raise your speed and have enough move+ to keep your distance, you will eventually start getting double turns and at that point focus on raising your strenght stat until the point you can kill him, takes a while but even a low lvl can do it.

>>12572654Teleport/run away use buffs. Use auto potion. You can learn duel wield as a ninja, learn equip armor from knight, then switch to monk and fist his ass also. Try to attack him in the back or you will get owned.
>>12573219Auto-potion - dump all your normal and HI potions stock only X-potions. Helps to have used Guts to pump Ramzas Brave to around 90+ so he almost always uses his reaction ability. Easiest sure fire way to breeze by the weigraf 1v1
Yeah this fight can softlock you if you're not using multiple save slots. It's mostly just about farming levels until you can survive his first round ko.

>>12573517Yes you gain 1 permanent point for every 4 points of bravery you gain in a battle. Works the same for faith and also in reverse if you want to reduce you stats for some reason. Generics will abandon you if their faith or brave get too low.

>>12573583Yep its important to raise those stats. Knightswords and fists deal more damage based on how high brave is. Magic damage is based on faith. If you have lower faith magic is less effective against you so you can like reduce a monks faith to make it tankier against magic, it also reduces healing though so pack chakra or potions.

>>12571826I didn't get filtered here because ever since Tactics Ogre I like to dismiss all my starting generics and hire two or three with defined roles that I grow from scratch and deploy on most battles with the MC. That, coupled with getting into random fights to farm crystals for skills, led me into that battle with an overpowered Ramza (Monk with Thief skills) and it was a breeze, despite not knowing what I was getting into.>Favorite job combos.I really like the Geomancer job and its reaction skill. It's nice to move one unit to the front in full gear and with most Geo skills (Dragoon, to reach high places), tanking attacks while reacting and inflicting status ailments because of the tile I put that unit on, like stopping enemies because of a tangled tile.
You all do be using the focus skill to grind, right?

>>12574705>Not rolling random battles with human enemies so you can get them crystallized and get all their skills by choosing the last one.There is no need to grind the common jobs -- just get the bare minimum requisites for each job and get lucky/savescum.
