If it's not some game that asks me to use two analog sticks or all the LR buttons I just stick to the keyboard.Having numbpad 1 and 2 as quicksave and quickly is pretty fucking comfy too, it's incredible so many old emulators want you doing stupid shit with shift and f1

>>12572102They can each server their own functions for various games. For FPS games and RTS games I tend to prefer mouse+kb controls. Games like DDR, even though it is much easier to use a keyboard, the discomfort and unfamiliarity of using a dance pad suits the game better for how it is to be played. Yet, I do get it, as with fighting games I'd want to remap buttons because I prefer the punches above the kicks and from left to right the degree of force from quick to heavy in a Capcom Street Fighter style instead of whatever default weird layout SNK has for their fighting games that are akin to Mortal Kombat garbage. So I'd say enjoy the games as you'd most like to derive fun from it with whatever control layout is best for you.
