I finally found the right place.I was trying to save the games from my, likely from Temu, R36S into my PC to then pass them to a new installation on another micro SD but when I try I get a bunch of errors to move the data from one side to the other, missing games, empty folders on that exist when I boot up the console but don't when I look the files on PC.What's going on and how do I solve it? Does anyone else here have/know children who regularly use these things? What did they think of them?Fucked around with the RG35XX and Miyoo Mini Plus and I don't think either of these quite work as a gift for my future daughter. The RG isn't powerful enough to run MuOS (it's not the Plus model) and while MinUI works excellently on it, I want it to be more visually appealing to my daughter. The Miyoo Mini Plus with Onion OS has been great but the boxart on OnionOS look so bad. The wifi capabilities are a nice bonus though. First option and the simplest one is just using a bluetooth connection between the controller and the handheld. The 2nd option is using a telescopic controller with pass-through charging. The 3rd option is using a regular USB-C controller, getting a couple of additional parts and doing some soldering magic to connect the controller to the USB interface while still exposing the phone's USB port for charging.Remember, I'm assuming you're aiming for a simple and cheap project. And the simplest thing to do is getting a telescopic USB-C controller with pass-through charging and a used phone, disassembling them both to remove them out of their shells, then connecting them together and placing them into a custom shell.>What about changing the screen sizeThe problem is the fact that smartphones don't have universal display connectors in them. You would basically be limited to the phone's display and maaybe some additional displays from the same brand.So you'd have to use the phone's display. If you want a different aspect ratio, you can use Android's window manager CLI commands to create cut-offs and make the display render in 1:1, 3:2, 4:3, etc. but you'll end up with black bars on 2 sides of your display and you'd have to hide them somehow.But if you really want to customize it more deeply then going with the smartphone route makes no sense. In that case you should just get some SBPC and tinker with it instead, since those have more ports and are more open to modification. You can hardwire most things onto USB ports and you can get any HDMI mini display and wire it to the HDMI port of the SBPC. The only problem is, SBPCs generally come with shit and non-gaming SoCs.
