The new Virtual Boy stuff for NSO is awesome because now the Nintendo support website sells accessories that are compatible with the original like the stand and the eye shield.

None of it is compatible unfortunately. They may look the same but it all fits on differently for some reason, for example holes for the foam visor to attach to the unit are in different spots. A damn shame because it would've been nice to not have to spend $120 to get your hands on an unused piece of foam.

The stand can be contorted into working but the eye shield is entirely incompatible.
