It's quite good. The zoomers here probably have never played it because it's AVGN or Metal Jesus or whomever haven't told them to but it's an actual hidden gem.

The game is good but the loot collection is cancer. Thankfully there's a romhack to fix that

I love Kick Master so much aaaa <3 Japan really missed out.

It's good but some of the sound and music design is atrocious. It doesn't hold a candle to games like Shatterhand or even Darkwing Duck.

A long time ago I was getting this girl I knew online into roms and for some reason this game really pissed her off to the point where I was teasing her about it. Years later I took a screenshot from a later part of the game, told her it was some indie game that I thought looked cool and got her to be like "whoa it looks badass" then she got so pissed when I admitted it was Kick Master. Good times.
