it's not an abomination like Bubsy 3D or anything. the problem with it is just that it's a mid 3D platformer that came out in an era of banger 3D platformers.camera could be better, and it's kinda horseshit it gives you no indication that the lost tapes exist. you basically have to find those by accident.
Nobody disliked these games before a certain e-celeb gave you this opinion.

I had the third one as a kid. It was serviceable but really nothing special. I guess the humor was supposed to carry it, but since I knew little english that was lost on me.
I personally hate every game with a protagonist that makes random pop culture "jokes" just because they are moving around.
