The housing and cost of living crisis is taking its toll. I already could not afford much past the bills, much less retro stuff, so I would be willing to let go of my Vectrex as well for that month of rent relief.

>>12777269The aspect ratio is irrelevant. Tubes aren't all of a uniform design even if they're the same size and aspect ratio. They vary a fair bit in terms of shape, depth and where things like the mounting tabs are placed. You can't just rip any old tube out of something and expect it to fit in a Vectrex chassis. You could start modifying and chopping the thing up to try and make it work, but at that point you should be beaten to death with a claw hammer for your own (and the greater) good.
