Original GB Tetris, now available for the Game Gear and the Master System thanks to armixer24.
There's no Game Type B nor Link Cable mode, but there's 10 music options and what's there seems pretty acurrate overall.

Apparently the assholes at romhacking forums are A-OK with garbage AI-coded romhacks like the MK1 garbage that came out a few days ago.

I have an idea for a small romhack that should be easy but I'm not experienced, I tried and couldn't do it
I just want to the remove the timer beeping sound in super monkey ball gamecube because I find it insufferable and it ruins the whole game for me
In SMB Mania the remake you can play without the beep but people online say it's an inferior remake that messed the physics and NGC is best version
It's such a small but obvious and baffling issue yet no one has done it yet?
Theoretically shouldn't it just be about replacing an audio file in the game files with a blank sound file? The issue is I couldn't locate the beeping file.
If a romhacker who also likes that game could maybe help, would be awesome

pardon the pleb question, but how do I change the level names in Lunar Magic? I found the red dot button on overworld, but it came up blank for the romhack I'm working on. They must be somewhere else, but where?

good to know the other way of accessing it, but I'm still stuck, pic related.

That's weird. I don't remember if /v/3's level names are in a separate asm file, as is the case in /v/2.
>>
>>12841459
that's why, thanks. pardon the deleting/reposting, figuring this shit out in real time. Another source showed me where it is in Asar.
ftr, I just want to change "house of my 84 little sisters" back to "house of my 84 imoutos" as it should be. I don't plan on touching any other titles.

Former Down is just sloggin at a tedious ''guys, please understand, it would be done when its done, we are TOTALLY dedicating all our free time into this game and not stalling or procrastinating with donators money, trust us'' pace, this feels like its gonna be another Woodfrog or Metaquiarius situation.

As for your request, i have a decent amount of ROM dumps including good Aftermarket titles, full games and demos, and i updated it with some upcoming demos of games, including the last dump version of Earthion before Yuzo Koshiro fingerwag people to ''wait till the final version you dishonrabur gaijins'' but, i do wanna ask something in return to update the collection.

Does anybody has the properly patched version of GG Aleste 3 that ACTUALLY RUN AND WORKS on both Emulators and Real Hardware, aka the one without the DRM and Anti Piracy shit?

Ill share the update ROM DUMP collection i have in the meantime, ill use pixeldrain because i heard catbox is crapping the bed recently.

Does anyone know anything about this specific multicart? I want to play Contra on my Famicom but I don't want to pay $80 or buy an Everdrive, this seems more soulful and accurate to how many people worldwide experienced the system

all i can tell you about that flash cart is that the picture they used for bird week is sugihara manami from sentimental graffiti.
the na and jp versions of contra have some differences in presentation like graphics and music. multicarts would probably use the na version because it doesn't use a mapper.
a chinese clone everdrive is cheaper than an official one and would support the jp version's vrc2 mapper. i swear they used to be cheaper a couple of years ago. but if you're going to be buying flash carts on aliexpress, don't blow your welcome deal on famicom if you ever want a snes fxpak-pro clone because that's where the most savings are.
if you use a proxy service like buyee i think you could get a copy of jp contra for less than $40 or maybe even $30 total.
the cheapest way for just contra might be to buy an na copy of contra and an nes to famicom adapter, unless you can get a multicart for cheaper.
>>
>>12842361
i still remember when Multicarts were just the same crappy early famicom games and PAL versions of games like SMB1 and maaaaaaybe one broken version of an MMC1 game like Flying Hero that breaks graphics due to split screens of the original since they had to fill this multicarts with simple NROM games, only those old famicart dedicated to the HUMMER and YOKO bootlegs were the more ''advanced'' ones, i think wasnt up until both MMC3 and 5 got reverse enginered became when multicarts with more advanced NES games started to show off, with of course, being the COOLBOY yellow carts, still feature the old crappy famicom dumps from the ancient ones mixed in tough.
>>
>>12842478
Some of those early Famicom games are pretty good though, like SMB and Mario Bros. and Lode Runner and most of Namco's early games (like BattleCity)
>>
>>12840204
It is interesting to consider WayForward done for the Contra games and Silent Hill vita, as well as Konami's own original right for the NEC system.
>>
Is there a good website to pirate most of the paid homebrews? I'm not paying $60 for a game that I want to emulate and finish in 2 hours.
