I love and hate both Tales of Destiny and Tales of Graces f.On one hand, the combat in each game is really fun. On the other hand, the stat system is so heavily skewed towards Accuracy being the only thing that matters that they both feel frustrating to play sometimes. Normal encounters are fucking awesome but then you get to a boss and they go into iron stance and it's like the least fun thing in the world to get around it.I'm serious when I say I'm genuinely happier fighting Alexei in Vesperia where he just techs out of shit for no reason and goes into his 14th over limit into an instant mystic arte because fuck you. Maybe I'm just remembering Destiny wrong and maybe I'm retarded when it comes to Graces f, but holy shit when the boss gets going on their iron stance bullshit I am furious.I have played Tales of Graces f 4 times in my life and I still don't get the combat, but it was fun going through it on Chaos mode. After 40 hours of Zestiria, only doing 1 trial so far, finally understanding how fusion and the skill system work, and the weakness system being less things to remember than Graces and Destiny R...This ain't too bad. Bosses can still kill me asap but at least you can combo them. Characters remember to smile and have some whimsy, and Sorey isn't some pretentious preachy version of a goody two shoes.God Arise sucks so much compared to this.

If you are playing the game because you enjoy it - which imo should be the only reason you play any game - you can easily keep playing for dozens of hours more. Off the top of my head you've got (counting the bladedrifts) 6 story dungeons left, with a lot of plot going on in-between those. And some of them are pretty big dungeons, as you'd expect. You're getting there but even in terms of just straight minimum completion you've maybe got about a quarter of the game left.
