Are there any games that allow you to play as a slime/have a slime race?

She's sorta neat as a unit too, because of how up and down her relative power level goes throughout the game.She's one of the first recruitable units you can get it the game, and she's useful right at that point because 1-you just don't have many units, and 2- she's able to cross water and deal okay magic damage. But as you get into the midgame her flaws really start dragging her down (low movement, no ability to counter direct attacks and pretty frail to them as well, missing a couple elemental damage types you'd really like her to have, etc) and you just get better units to use. And that's the case right up until like 80% through the game, where you're able to finish her character missions, and after you do that she gets a lot of upgrades (a close-range almighty damage attack, movement and just general stat boosts, and solid long(er) range attack) which makes her certainly not your best unit, but a pretty good one right through the end of the game. And then she gets left behind again for the post-game, but that's most units. And she's a bro-con too!

I barely remember anything about the game other than this, but "My World, My Way". Basically the main character is a spoiled princess that decides to be an adventurer that is unknowingly getting helped behind the scenes, and the only other party member is a slime that can copy enemy bodyparts or something like that. I think it was pretty shortOtherwise a bunch of Dragon Quest stuff, I'm sure
