>>3844422>>3844611The Luminous arc games are perfectly fine. They don't have any egregious sins, but they don't particularly excel in anything either. In terms of actual game design, they're aggressively safe and inoffensive. Really like the character designs though.Only thing I can gripe about is that the actual SRPG gameplay flow can be a tad slow, but that's a huge problem for alot of games of its kind during the time, and honestly is still a problem for a lot of games like it today.

Luminous Arc 2 is still probably the game that leans into the waifus power you up mechanic in the most literal and in-your-face way possible and I will always respect them for how shameless they are about it.Other games skill or powerup cut-in exhibits MC maybe holding hands with his girl or something. Luminous Arc 2 fucking shows them in a goddamn wedding dress.
