>>3846811I'm a level 1 true neutral ranger/sorcerer
I was reminded of a scene from the tv show Rome. An ex-soldier is training a young noble kid how to fight with a sword, and he's getting pissed because he knows he sucks at it. He doesn't really have the stature or muscle to be a good fighter, and he says "at best I will be a middling swordsmen, and the ground is full of middling swordsmen, best not to be one at all". That was kind of my thoughts the last time I did this thing, because I got a wizard with like 12 intelligence... I guess I could do some party tricks to impress simple women...
>>3847174"Dave the Commoner" started around that level of INT, if I remember correctly. Managed to get to LVL20 and have his own kingdom using coven hex to compensate for lack of intelligence.
>>384725912 ain't nothing to scoff at in the d&d world, and i suppose there is always gear with intelligence bonuses. Still, not a good start. Surviving to get the goods would be an issue.
