>>3849811Congrats on proving his point. These faggots are only respected among 90 IQ plebs who don't know shit about games. Blood Fresh Supply were and still is an utter shit with tons of gameplay inaccuracies, especially compared to both NBlood and BloodGDX which came way before it and were fucking free, and don't even make me start on SS2EE which looks like ass and is broken beyond belief, still having bugs from the vanilla that were fixed in NewDark, not even coop works properly despite "fixed coop" supposed to be it's selling point.

The hardest part of replaying this in current year isn’t the graphics, it’s the braindead AI. Feels like you’re cheesing the game when you know everything.

i think it looks like a downgrade. I don't mind because it just gives me motivation to play the original. However, i'm sure this time next year many young people will have essays worth of opinions on how Deus Ex should be "fixed"
>>3849854yes, and it would cost more and the vultures that profit off of this slop wouldn't like that. so why get mad at the tools, rather than the person paying them?think about it, it's like you're running defense for the swedes.

>>3849931Anon, that phrase was used in the same context in the original. JC used it to ask for an example of why plutocrats have more and more power over the government and regular people.
>>3849932Yeah, I’m the one that posted it.
>>3849911>while leaving them mostly intactThey constantly fall flat on their ass with that. If the original source code of the game is unavailable then Slopdive demaster is guaranteed to be trash, only adored by dimwit normies who don't care about gameplay accuracy and faithfulness.
Here's a picture.
>>3849925No, the Swedes own the Americans who use AI to "remaster" the game. Worker jeets are a bogeyman used to distract people from the electronic old businessmen and their "flexibility" with regards to the quality of "remasters".
>>3849915Maybe you should try getting a job.
>>3849799>literally every single paranoid conspiracy in Deus Ex 1 is true>Warren Spector became a pro government liberal anywayhow the hell did he not learn from his own game?
>>3850095>how the hell did he not learn from his own game? He’s Jewish. He regretted the goyim noticing that his game named the Rothschilds.
>>3850095Deus Ex was a product of the 90s conspiracy theory demonizing, whre they used shows like the X-files and the JFK assassination to convince people that government conspiracies and NWO shit was always tinfoil hat talk. Nowadays they use "schizo" in the same way.
I never considered Deus Ex to be a good looking game, but that shit looks horrific without the excuse of it being 25 years old

Why does it look like it came out in 2005?
>>3849802Live a Live has a good remake, but it helps that the original game was insanely flawed to begin with.
>>3850149Stick with the (You), (You) with the (You).
I'm not going to pretend the original was perfect or anything, but why make a remake that not only looks bad, it looks like it came from the PS2 era (despite the fact that the PS2 had a port of DE already)? Like if they made it look more like HR, I'd grumble but at least it's something. This looks worse than Invisible War, a game that looked bad even at the ti,e.
>>3850181Because they did a market projection and thought that spending some comparatively minor amount of currency to do a lazy AI remaster will still sell enough to be profitable based on the game's rep and Steam user's lack of discretion. They are right.
>>3850169It's not a proper port, as it's riddled with gameplay inaccuracies - the player movement is off, weapon timings are off, monster behaviour is off, it's more of a janky recreation with Blood assets instead of being a proper port, similiar to BloodCM. It's inability to playback demos (something universally used to measure port's accuracy) makes that evident.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yh-HBNz_0s

>>3849851It's almost impressive how they can take a game from a quarter century ago and make it look worse.
>>3849851The new one looks cool to me...these graphics fit this game. They really should have remade it.

>>3850792https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1b-bijO3uEw
>>3850204The main problems with the original are>you can't see enemy hp>enemies have inherent resistances and weaknesses but because you have no idea how attacks work in relation to your stats and you also can't see what enemies resist or are weak to, you have no idea what is a good or bad move to use outside of guessing>the original game gives no indication what has an item so it's just slamming yourself against every object and mashing A like a pixel hunt >the fucking insane maze of the ninja chapter having no map>crafting is completely unintuitiveThe remake addresses all of these.

>>3851097>they mention the Rothschilds, but so what, they don't mention Jews
The most jewish thing is the helios ending where you become AI golem moshiach.
>>3851109Except DX is really ambiguous as to what the Helios ending is doing. It's Invisible War that actually explores it to its conclusion.
>>3851111I've still never played Invisible War. Is there any reason to? Apparently it's like a dollar right now, but I'm more concerned with wasted time
>>3851116I mean the director and writer come back for it, the problem is mainly limitations brought on from having to be on the Xbox, including characters talking in smaller paragraphs (though it significantly improves in quality once you start meeting the Dentons again). The best way I've heard it described is>Deus Ex is a great classic sci-fi film, Invisible War is more like a "pretty good" episode of Star Trek The Next GenerationThat being said the PC version needs a mod for it to fucking function in any real way.
>>3851116It uses universal ammom where different weapons just expend different amounts from the magazinesIt has hilarious but wonky physicsThe story is dumberThe characters are dumberIt's too disconnected from the somewhat grounded future of the original and goes full cyberpunkBut sometimes, SOMETIMES it actually remembers it's fucking Deus Ex and gives us some of the best dialogue in the series. If it's only a dollar I say play it once.

I don't understand the point of a remaster for this game. It runs fine on modern systems and you can get it for less than a dollar. Honestly I'd prefer a remake if it added additional content and gameplay mechanics. At least it would be something different rather than just removing the soul from the game.

Just beat the game. Honestly the story was kinda disappointing for me, I actually think HR's was more interesting. 95% of the game is just about the virus, either finding ambrosia or trying to destroy it and make a cure. The reveal that it was man made really didn't do anything for me, it was obvious. Then the last bit is Page trying to become a machine god, which was cool but not really that related with the virus plot. The AI stuff was definitely the highlight.
