Congrats on proving his point. These faggots are only respected among 90 IQ plebs who don't know shit about games. Blood Fresh Supply were and still is an utter shit with tons of gameplay inaccuracies, especially compared to both NBlood and BloodGDX which came way before it and were fucking free, and don't even make me start on SS2EE which looks like ass and is broken beyond belief, still having bugs from the vanilla that were fixed in NewDark, not even coop works properly despite "fixed coop" supposed to be it's selling point.

i think it looks like a downgrade. I don't mind because it just gives me motivation to play the original. However, i'm sure this time next year many young people will have essays worth of opinions on how Deus Ex should be "fixed"

Warren Spector had nothing to do with Ultima Underworld or System Shock, in Looking Glass he was merely a faggot who did funding and some paperwork, same goes for every other game he "made" with them. Deus Ex is the only game he actually developed.

They constantly fall flat on their ass with that. If the original source code of the game is unavailable then Slopdive demaster is guaranteed to be trash, only adored by dimwit normies who don't care about gameplay accuracy and faithfulness.

Deus Ex was a product of the 90s conspiracy theory demonizing, whre they used shows like the X-files and the JFK assassination to convince people that government conspiracies and NWO shit was always tinfoil hat talk. Nowadays they use "schizo" in the same way.

Live a Live has a good remake, but it helps that the original game was insanely flawed to begin with.
>>
>>3850149
Stick with the (You), (You) with the (You).
>>
I'm not going to pretend the original was perfect or anything, but why make a remake that not only looks bad, it looks like it came from the PS2 era (despite the fact that the PS2 had a port of DE already)? Like if they made it look more like HR, I'd grumble but at least it's something. This looks worse than Invisible War, a game that looked bad even at the ti,e.
>>
>>3850181
Because they did a market projection and thought that spending some comparatively minor amount of currency to do a lazy AI remaster will still sell enough to be profitable based on the game's rep and Steam user's lack of discretion.
They are right.
>>
>>3850169
It's not a proper port, as it's riddled with gameplay inaccuracies - the player movement is off, weapon timings are off, monster behaviour is off, it's more of a janky recreation with Blood assets instead of being a proper port, similiar to BloodCM. It's inability to playback demos (something universally used to measure port's accuracy) makes that evident.

The main problems with the original are
>you can't see enemy hp
>enemies have inherent resistances and weaknesses but because you have no idea how attacks work in relation to your stats and you also can't see what enemies resist or are weak to, you have no idea what is a good or bad move to use outside of guessing
>the original game gives no indication what has an item so it's just slamming yourself against every object and mashing A like a pixel hunt
>the fucking insane maze of the ninja chapter having no map
>crafting is completely unintuitive
The remake addresses all of these.

I hope you're fucking baiting. I really do. BGEE has so much shit in it that it's not even funny - no backwards compatibility with original mods, broken pathfinding, altered quests and balance for faggots, and shitty new companions no one asked for that stand out like a sore thumb. Nevertheless, the fact that you listed THIS as an example of a good remaster seals that you either just listing random games you haven't even played, or that you're an exemplary Beamdog-glazing faggot who loves the story mode.

The most jewish thing is the helios ending where you become AI golem moshiach.
>>
>>3851109

>>
>>3851111
I've still never played Invisible War. Is there any reason to? Apparently it's like a dollar right now, but I'm more concerned with wasted time
>>
>>3851116
I mean the director and writer come back for it, the problem is mainly limitations brought on from having to be on the Xbox, including characters talking in smaller paragraphs (though it significantly improves in quality once you start meeting the Dentons again). The best way I've heard it described is
>Deus Ex is a great classic sci-fi film, Invisible War is more like a "pretty good" episode of Star Trek The Next Generation
That being said the PC version needs a mod for it to fucking function in any real way.
>>
>>3851116
It uses universal ammom where different weapons just expend different amounts from the magazines
It has hilarious but wonky physics
The story is dumber
The characters are dumber
It's too disconnected from the somewhat grounded future of the original and goes full cyberpunk
But sometimes, SOMETIMES it actually remembers it's fucking Deus Ex and gives us some of the best dialogue in the series.

If it's only a dollar I say play it once.

I don't understand the point of a remaster for this game. It runs fine on modern systems and you can get it for less than a dollar. Just beat the game. Honestly the story was kinda disappointing for me, I actually think HR's was more interesting. 95% of the game is just about the virus, either finding ambrosia or trying to destroy it and make a cure. The reveal that it was man made really didn't do anything for me, it was obvious. Then the last bit is Page trying to become a machine god, which was cool but not really that related with the virus plot. The AI stuff was definitely the highlight.
