Both are built around heavy exploration, with neat side-areas overlapping into main locations through obscure passages. Besides, Eschalon could use a lot of trimming to its skills, like making "cartography" a single-point skill trained through sextant quest for 100 gold or making "Skullduggery" and "Pick locks" one skill.
