>"RADSCORPIONS could be here," he thought, "I've never been in this cave before. RADSCORPIONS could be anywhere." The cool wind felt good against his bare chest. "I HATE RADSCORPIONS," he thought. Mark Morgan's soundtrack reverberated the entire cave, making it pulsate even as the Nuka-Cola circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of poisoning after dark. "With some dynamite you can seal any cave you want," he said to himself, out loud.
>>3859348For me, it’s killing all but one and then dynamiting the cave
>>3859437Do you get more xp for bombing the cave? I tend to hoard dynamite and never use it, but milking levels out of the early game takes precedence.>You fail to do any healing.>You fail to do any healing.>You fail to do any healing.>You fail to do any healing.
>blow up cave>travel to shady sands>ian attacks and kills memany such cases
>>3859518Just kill Killian instead.
>>3861172>>blow up cave>>travel to shady sands>>ian attacks and kills me>many such casesWhat? I have never heard of this. Doesn't sound right
>>3861172>>3861291Ian was compromised by the radscorpions, he's under orders to carry out a false flag attack with you to justify an invasion of Shady Sands. Then he kills you to cover it up. This was originally going to be part of a larger questline but it got cut and this is all that's left in the final game.
What are some other out of the box ways to solve a quest in any of the Fallout games? I would have never thought to use dynamite to blow up the Radscorpian cave in F1 without others mentioning it.
>>3861790Fallout 2 new Reno Mafia quest, you can swap the guys oxygen tank to a poison one to kill him
>>3864764Neat, I'll have to try that sometime.
>>3861291I guess if you leave the caves in a hurry and ian remains in the hypothetical blast radius, he gets hypothetical damage. So when finishing the travel (enter shady sands), he attacks you out of spite.
>>3861790>>3864764>>3865151The unnamed quest to assassinate bishop is always kind of interesting. You have to satisfy his wife in bed so she sleep talks the combination to his safe, you then go disarm the safe and rearm it so the next time bishop opens it, he dies. requires a high trap skill that no one ever has because traps is generally useless otherwise and only used in a few rare cases.
>>3867782Deficit? In bed? I would never
>>3867782Also another thing, not really a secret quest or anything, more like cut content that still lingers, but the cult in Gecko with another mole rat god. His only purpose is to tell you about the greedy ghoul to help save Gecko, and he also likes cheesy poofs and gives you some stuff I think. Its funny because I didn't know about him for the longest time. He literally does nothing and he's off in the far reaches of the map that no one ever bothers going to because there's nothing there.
