>Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road17 days remain between us and the best sokka game in the history of gamingDid you played the beta? Or any of the DS/3DS games? Have you watched the anime or read any of the mangas? What are your favorite characters and techniques? This is probably the only game I've been excited about in ages and I needed a place to talk about it. Hopefully it lives up to my hype.
>>3865823I watched with my mom the first two seasons years back. I still remember her losing her shit with laughter when the "aliens" arrived.. Probably liked Kevin the best cause dragons are cool, and I tend to gravitate towards powercreeped side characters. Currently halfway towards completing the first game, and I'm having a generally decent time, even if people say the first one is rather barebones.
>>3865836>Saggy>Boomer>DemiBased and scoutpilled. Have you watched any of the newer animes?
>>3865857Excluding a few clips, no. Maybe I will check them out later if the Road's chronicle mode will make me interested, but I'm probably going to finish the original trilogy first. There seems to be some pokemon version bullshittery later on, but the only differences are which girl is pushed as a love interest and some scouts, from what I saw.
>>3865860You mean with the releases of the games? Yeah there are 2 versions of the 2nd game and 3 of the 3rd. They don't really change alot, only some post game stuff and what important player you get first but you can get all players in the DS without cheating or having to use a trainer. The 3DS/GO era is another thing enterally, that shit NEEDS both versions of the game if you want to play something other than random scout teams after completing the main story. Fun games tho, but some mechanics can get a bit tiresome (I'm looking at you Keshins)
>>3865823Soccer is for gay latinos, no thanks. I'm not going to buy the next FIFA either Ramon
>>3865823I don't like the new gameplay. Bring me back my RTWP soccer game..Truth be told I wanted them to experiment more with pass hissatsus and integrating football elements to the game - there is much more potential when combined with hissatsu tactics and stuff
>>3865975No need to be mean my friend. We live too little in this world to waste time in hating eachother when we can learn to love and live a better life>>3866106They are adding something called "Mouse support" that seems to be pretty similar to the DS style of gameplay. I'm trying to look for a trailer that I remember showed it in action but I cant find it. Found this on the official page that mentions it.
>>3865975OK American, go back to watching "American football", the most boring team sport in the world, along with baseball
Post favorite scouts. Don't bully me for the low levels its a new save
>>3866131Why show a latin screenshot when you are posting in a English-speaking forum hermano?
>>3866133Inazuma love knows no barriers, either cultural or linguistic. We are all joined together by the love of sokka. What is your favorite scout player my brother?
>>3866134The 4 heavenly kingsPicrel is a tournament team, since I can't find a pic for the random encounter team
>>3866136Adding Pic since for some reason it was not uploaded
Only 16 days for the release bros. Haizaki is so cool...
>>3866351Honestly every new character added since Go Galaxy haven't been very memorable to meHaisucky includedThe new Raimon team is also just a far cry from the original with their faggy, bishie designs appealing to fujos
Late but not by a lot.15 days remaning, today's player is the brain cancer boy himself: Nosaka.
>>3866974Are you going to pre order? I'll probably will just to play it a few days earlier. Having an early Fubuki sounds tempting as well.
>>3866974Another sucky character with no interesting characteristics than just being a fujobait
Today's player is no other that the schizo spy master with the heart of gold: IchihosiOrion was fucking shit but it really gave us one of the best Inazuma moments of the entire franchise.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0dmVDmcmG4Only 14 days remaining
Today's player is a new addition to the game, not for the story mode but for the new mode of Chronicles: Victorio (and a guest appearance of Wondabot)Only 13 days remaining.
>>3865975Japanese people are gay latinos?
Am I the only one who hate the new character designs since Ares? GO started the decline, but there were still some designs that matched the vibe of the Level-5 artstyleFeels like the Level-5 vibe will be gone entirely in Victory Road
>>3867668>short brown people who can't into women and like shitty Shonen animeyeah actually
>>3867845Yeah I know what you mean. Older level5 designs were a lot rougher. The Ares and Orion ones are too clean, too safe. But there are a few good designs in the sea of mediocrity that is the newer seasons. I like Norika for example, or the weird hair keeper from Kirkwood. Clario is also pretty fucking cool, he will probably start in my VR team as soon as I manage to get him.
>>3867863Clario is decent I guess, reminds me of Desarm a lil bit. Asuto, despite disliking the way he is written, is actually pretty Level-5 coded imo.One of my biggest gripes was the main team roster in VR. They look like Manhwa / Demon Slayer characters, lol
>>3865836Finished the story and I'm currently doing the end-game competition matches. Is there any trick to S-ranking them beyond grinding everybody to level 80 or so? My strikers are strong enough to more or less guarantee a goal with a hissatsu, the problem is getting the ball to them. And when the opponent gets it, I'm getting spammed with 4 Afterimages/Heaven Times in a row. Yes, it drains their meters a lot, but it also wastes a shitload of time, so I can't get enough goals for the S rank.
For today image (and the next 11 if I had to guess) we have the newest players of the franchise. Starting with what I take to be the new Taiyo Amemiya/Sol Daystar of this generation: Nikas Himmelstein!Only 12 days remaning>>3868262You need a few players with Big Moves or Elemental Charge and abuse it to win matchups and win the ball quickly in the kickoffs. Either that or outgrind them in levels.
>>3865836The part in 2 where several members of og Raimon use the Aliea meteorite and turn against you, because they feel like Endou abandoned them. Even after all the talk of the first game of working hard to overcome, when in reality he just wanted to keep them safe and out of harms way.Kino.Kazemaru getting super aggressive when Genesis show up, is because he already had an Aliea meteorite shard that he was using. That's why he was the only one able to keep up with them.
>>3868449Yeah at first when I found out about IE2 alien premise I laughed at the ridiculousness, but the execution was actually pretty darn good, had a lot of heart and soul put into it, even so that the later seasons IMO haven't been able to replicate. GO Galaxy was so disappointing in comparison.
>>3868449[Yeah, I remember being briefly upset that all the "hard work and no shortcuts" talk just resulted in 3/4 of the starting cast getting dumpstered right away or getting injured to futilely catch up, but that's shonen and having to showcase a shitton of characters from the game for you. At least most of the newcomers were cool - not that useless fuck who mimicked the GK moves and for some reason made the MC into a striker for the majority of the season. My child self hated that guy. >>3868284Fucked around with formations and spent nearly all my points on skills - also capped the FP/TP points for my main squad - and I can comfortably win 3/4-0. Thanks for the advice, even if getting probably an underwhelming S-rank prize it's going to take a while.
Only watched the OG anime and played the two first Go games, should I try Go Galaxy and / or watch Ares / Orion before playing Victory Road?
>>3868511Ares goes from bad to good to okay. Peaks too early with the first few matches. The best match of the season doesn't even have Raimon in it. It's a weird season.Orion is ass sadly. It has like 3 good moments. That's it.I like Galaxy but it has its detractors. The problem with GO in general is that they went very hard with the powercreep of the main cast and main villains of each match and it was really hard to make the rest of the players relevant. So they had to dial back the power of the players and lower the power curve slot to make the matches something other than "Tenma has the ball, he's summoning his stand and he's going to score/assist to make the epic come back". It gets predictable after the 45th it happens. So they introduce a new cast of players that are completely new to football and they learn it on the road. I like this idea, but the fandom didn't like that their favorite characters didn't get picked for the "national team".
Today's image is another one of the new kids, the baseball bad boy himself: Thierry ReyesOnly 11 days remaining.
>>3868556>the fandom didn't like that their favorite characters didn't get picked for the "national team".Nah, ofc it's hard to get attached to literal whos - especially when they weren't really in it for the football in the first placeLike IE3 had some literal whos like Toramaru and Tobitaka that are well-received who have some connection with the main cast, along with their unique quirks. Lastly the GO Galaxy aliens IMO were really boring and unmemorable - honestly maybe only furries/scalies loved them.
>>3868836I agree with the aliens being boring. The only time they tried something different was with the weird bug dudes that had a week of lifespan and one of them dies in the middle of the match. That was pretty funny. But the rest is just opinion, I find most of the side cast of GO boring as fuck. They just either follow Tenma around and do jackshit or are so irrelevant they don't even matter for anything other than powerscaling debates. Like what the fuck can Tor or Roma do for the plot? The sidecast is so forgetable they had to recast Zanark again. The new kids are fine. Falco, Woody, Terry, Cherise (don't know the JP names) are alright. Better than Bailong that his whole caracther is just aura farming.I don't like IE:GO.
>>3868856IE:GO had lots of potential with its "politicization of football" plot, sadly the execution is so bad, the FFI teams are just not that interesting on their ownIt's the opposite of the original IE, which had pretty standard plot but the execution, plus every opposing FFI teams having their own unique gimmick made them more memorable than they should've
Today's player is the mandatory fat fuck that plays defense: Cade Shelby!Only 10 days remaning.
