I liked Look Outside at first, but it doesn't take itself nor the player seriously enough for me and ends up being another wacky Tumblr game rather than true horror.
They recently added an ending where you turn to an anime character and beat up the final boss, even though there was a joke ending already.

There are at least three kingdoms, the garbage one you're from, one of mammals, and the warring state is bugs. It hasn't been overtly touched on yet (or I don't think it was, the prologue was kind of a blur and I now realize I didn't pay much attention during it) but I'm assuming it's a post-apocalyptic Earth what with the garbage and debris like wrecked cars, and I've seen a dog NPC so all of the characters are strictly related to garbage. Though it's titled "Kingdoms of the Dump", so maybe it really does take place just in a dump.

Anyway, it's not groundbreaking so far but it's not boring, and it's not overly comedic or trope-laden, or a deconstruction or something gay like that.
