This game used to be highly recommended here, but I don't see it discussed much anymore. I wanted to replay it and decided to go with the Japanese version since it had some updates and bonus content like voice acting, a randomly-generated dungeon, and an endless mode. Fortune Summoners has great combat and a sense of adventure that I can't seem to find in any other game. The combat feels like a 2D fighting game at times. You get a lot of move variety, such as safe pokes and risky lunges, and have to be really careful about your spacing. Some enemies can block and will hop over you and try to mix you up, and can combo the shit out of you if you're not careful.I'm at the point in the game where Sana leaves the party, and I have to go it alone with Arche. It's been a good opportunity to git gud, but damn, I have to max out my inventory with consumables at every town to not get trashed going from point A to B.
Also, this is what the Endless Mode looks like. It's got a lot of settings, but this is Arche only + max enemies + instakill. You try to defeat as many enemies as possible within 1 minute for a high score.I haven't played the random dungeon mode yet.

Well, I beat the game on Expert and found out there's a Nightmare difficulty after you beat the game and that's as far as I remember.
I don't even know what they censored, wasn't even thinking about it when I played. Doesn't seem like something that has censored content worth caring enough about. Let me see if I can figure out what.And as I thought, it is just a bathtub scene where the girls are nude... but they're not showing... anything. There is an uncensored patch but the change is so insignificant. They never had nips or vulus to begin with. I hate normie censorship.

I've already beaten 3/4 of the game with a controller, but I feel obligated to switch to keyboard for these sword skills you learn late-game. They all take quarter-circle inputs like ^>X, >^X, >vX etc, but executing them is really inconsistent with a thumbstick. Especially the lower quarter-circle skills, because if you swing a little too far you'll automatically execute a dodge roll. On a keyboard, these are effortless.Unfortunately the game doesn't support the D-pad on my controller, or remapping the movement keys on keyboard (you have to use the arrow keys). Shit sucks.
