What are some good mmos to start playing, I never played any of the oldschool games, as i wasn't born on the hayday of mmos.
What type of RPG are you looking for? Western or Eastern style? Are you okay with grinding? Are you okay with pay2win? Willing to subscribe for monthly, pay2play? Freemium?
>>3888780I am okey with a little grinding, but I dont want pay to win stuff. I want a game that doesn't have a monthly subscription, i sant to plah once and be done. I want a game thats like animal crossing, but mmo. I dont really know the difference between eastern and western style
>>3888788Western would be games like World of Warcraft, Runescape, Guild Wars, EverQuest, etc... Theres also games for specific fandoms, like Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings.Eastern is more like Final Fantasy 11/14, Maple Story, an endless list of Korean/Chinese/Japanese MMOs. Korean MMOs are generally known to have obscene grinds. Eastern also generally have gatcha elements and stores to buy "scrolls" to upgrade gear, usually not til endgame/late game tho.If you're looking for pay once and no sub, Western style games I'd recommend Guild Wars 2, Runescape, maybe Elder Scrolls Online if you don't mind a freemium where you don't HAVE to pay, but there are benefits. Eastern wise, I'm not too familiar with the current ones, but Vindictus used to be popular, Maple Story, Black Desert. Specifically an Animal Crossing-like MMO I'd try Palia maybe? It's the closest thing I can think of and AFAIK atm it's still in beta/EA that meets your criteria.
>>3888796Ive been thinking about runescape, but it seems like I am playing it too late. Elder scrolls seems like absolute kino. I dont know if i am imagining things, but wasn't there an mmo by the korean company LINE? I think the name was LINE game, is that still around?
>>3888774Phantasy Star Online
