Then, even if you had no idea who she was, it's not hard to guess that she's important and/or recruitable based on her battle model and the scenario that follows. If you fuck up and she runs, any player with half a brain would try to encounter her again, and from that point it's just a matter of trial and error through 5 questions with a 50/50 chance each time.Her encounter rates are lower at first just to make her a reward for certain kinds of players: obsessive NEET types with prior FF experience would likely recruit Yuffie as early as possible without even trying, because they'd always be on the lookout for every encounter formation in a new area for steals/drops/enemy skills, and it's common knowledge that the stronger, more interesting enemies are usually in the forests. With that in mind, even at her lowest encounter rate (1/8th in Junon/Fort Condor area) you'd have to be monumentally unlucky NOT to find her ASAP. Then as I said it's just a matter of stumbling through the questions. Nothing terribly "cryptic" about it; you just have be engaging with the game and not skating through it with your brain off.

Most playthroughs, I kill him with poison and even manage to survive Beta by inflicting characters with sadness so they take 30% less damage, and equipping Elemental+Fire on their armor. It can take some trial and error, especially if zolom likes to flick your E.skill/Beta-tank out of battle, forcing a reset, but it's really not hard to figure out, and earns you an absurdly powerful enemy skill as early as possible.
