I was 10 hours into the game (did up to the fishing hamlet town being invaded and about to enter the capital area) and all of my multiple saves right back to the first forest area got deleted.

Probably some elitist or FF faggot. Xenoblade 2 is somewhat of an homage to this game with it all taking place on a Cloud Sea on top of titans, one of which is a giant whale.

Sixth Gen was such a sweet spot for graphics where you could make a beautiful 3d Game but development wasn't so prohibitively expensive that you couldn't innovate or try something new.

It made baten kaitos interesting to have two characters with similar life experiences, getting fucked over by the empire, yet seeing how they choose to handle them in completely different ways.

>>3893118>He is a great Progtag though his dual nature gives him depthNot to mention it makes for a great romance I love xehla and kalas' relationship and how she never gives up on him.I wish for the baten kaitos remake that they did a sort of "thousand year dream" type thing for kalas where you could unlock memories from his youth with Georg and fee. If written well they could better contextualize his pain, sorrow, and rage which fuels his revenge quest. It wouldn't have been all that expensive to do you just need some basic visual effects and a good writer. And I think it would add more to the story. As is you see what Giacomo does to his village but since you don't get to see many of the happy times kalas has with fee you don't quite feel it.

love this game bros, the combat's so fun and the story was pretty damn cool, just gotta give the game a fair shot and not drop it in a few hours when you hear the VA or see your cards change. the combo system keeps the combat dynamic even when it's just trash mobswhen kalas turned out to be evil/betray the group I had to kneel, didn't expect them to use the fact that (You)'re a separate entity like that, great moment
