It had some good parts like the family drama and funny spoiled noble choices. Made me want a QW3 just to see how the plot turns out, otherwise yeah the mechanics and shitty factions were a letdown.

The progression is all screwed up. You have to clear out multiple dungeons and build up your forts just to be able to buy the next tier of amour and weapons. Doing all that work just for a bit of extra stats isn't worth the effort. There's no real sense of getting stronger. All you can spend points on is character abilities and those can be respecced anytime, so all builds just sorta blend together. Level scaling doesn't help. If you're stuck on a dungeon you can't really put it off and try something else, as they're all scaled to your level.
