Anyone here played MTG Forge Adventure? I had a lot of fun putting together a vampire deck but eventually dropped because every boss fight being a "best 2 out of 3" match is such a massive slog when they all start with like 60 health.
What the hell is this, it looks like a mix of FF4 and Commander Keen
You make a character and a deck of Magic cards and go around the map doing quests and stuff.

>>3906302Dope and that's entirely on me for being retarded, I assumed the world setting was just the RNG for the map design (old border being the literal borders of the map). Crazy someone else had to make the mod. Reminds me of the StS mod that lets you draft your starter deck and you have to deselect 50+ fan expansions if you want to simply use vanilla cards.

I wish Gorge Adventure had the atmosphere andvart style of Shandalar because it is the objectively better game overall. Shandalar is so fucking obnoxious with its jank ass controls and incessant encounter rate that it will make you hate playing Magic.
