I never play as a gnome, halfling, or dwarf. I'm not playing as a manlet, no way, no how.
>>3908595I don't blame you, roleplay is about experiencing different situations than the one you find yourself in the real world. I'm glad you have these imaginary spaces to feel tall in, little bro.
>>3908595Humans are shorter than orcs. Orcs are short compared to even more races.
>>3908621Human is n+1 dummy
>>3908642Whatever that means.
>>3908595Based self-respecting anon. I'll die before I be a midget, even in fantasy
thank goodness i'm 6'5. one inch less and i'd be an unfuckable disgusting manlet.
I will always play as a gnome, halfling, or dwarf. I'm not playing as a lanklet, no way, no how.
>>3908595it's funny that nobody can picture a hero being short. imagine a 5'5" superman. you can't. simply isn't heroic to have a height that starts with 5 (or, heaven forbid, less than that).
>>3908595I've had lots of fun playing evil gnome bankers, or turbo autismo dwarves. I also did a halfling paladin that was a delusional old farmer, that was a fun one though sadly he got burned alive by cannibals.
>>3908621Way too few games let you play something bigger than human, especially something that isn't ugly.
>>3908595Even with the overpowered shorty bonus to saving throws?
>>3908849>I'm going to play a ridiculous joke character so I can have a 5% better chance of resisting harmful effects!Kill yourself.
>>3908859>Kill yourself.*roll for save vs death**shorty save bonus succeeds*What now, big guy?
>>3908859>5%It's WAY better than that. You give a dwarf an 18 in constitution he's going to have a -5 modifier to his death/wand/spell saves. Since you obviously didn't play the game, I'll explain it; a saving throw is a roll of 1-20 that is compared to your saving throw stat, if you roll over it, you negate or reduce the effect of the attack. A dwarf fighter with 18 constitution at level one will have saving throws of 9/11/10/12/12, which is marginally better than a human fighter at level eight. By the time your levels are in the teens he is practically immune to most death, wand, and spell effects you can throw at him if they allow a save, and that's without any items that give a bonus to saving throws.A dwarf who manages to get his constitution above 20 is practically invincible.
>>3908859Didn't play the game. Go larp somewhere else, self-inserting worm.
>>3908877>practicallyIf you can get hit, you will get hit.
>>3908595Never get in a fight with someone in a natural advantage position to headbutt you in the nuts.
