Started FFXIII-3, finished the main story of Luxerion and I am not sure what to think.
>Got all the DLC for free
Some really busted costumes so I can fight difficult enemies early.
> can play subbed instead of dealing with dubs
glad I waited instead of buying it tweleve years ago
>Not digging the archtechture
was promised hyperfuturic cities beyond comprehension, but the environments are little more than modern contemporary with some rustiness
>Have to finish tasks before the time limit runs out
Side missions are alI well and good but this is stressful. I know that there will be multiple playthroughs due to a spoiler I saw about a boss on the guide, but leaving shit unfinished stresses me out.

There is more than enough time to do everything. If you abuse the chronostasis ability you can finish all the side quests by like the 4th day.

yes, I don't like missing shit. I am not getting stuck at bosses bc I missed some bullshit halfway through the game or something.

The FF13 English dubs were actually good. Definitely not your usual shitty animu game dub.

Yeah, the lack of spectacular Isamu Kamikokuryo industrial environments is disappointing. That has more to do with how the FF13 sequels are lower budget than the original game. The sequels also got shafted in having few to no prerendered cinematics like the original did.

Timers are SUPPOSED to be stressful. That's the point. To make the game more tense.

>Definitely not your usual shitty animu game dub.
true, true but the voice talent of Daisuke Ono and Daisuke Kishio are much better than their english counterparts.

>Isamu Kamikokuryo industrial environments is disappointing
the gang was always on the run in the initial title , I really wanted to just explore a world with his design sense. We got a little bit of that in xii-2, but still.

>e lower budget than the original game.
really? I thought that there was much more content in xiii-2 than the intial one.

1 - you have mental issues. Fix yourself
2 - it isn't. The game is so fucking generous with its time limit you can easily finish everything out there and have days left of just wandering or extinction monsters if you wanted to
3 - it does not have to be multiple playthrough
4 - Lol >>3914271 killed you lmao

You can completely mitigate the time mechanic by using the time-slow properly.
Game is fucking great.

LR isn't like that: it has standard open world style quests where almost everything is marked on the map. It is extremely hard to miss anything important.

>playing JRPGs the intended way is le bad
