It might sound stupid but I have a feeling that Lindamea and Grimm are more than rivals like they are brothers. Because it feels similar to Raoh and Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star. Lindamea's has those horns that are like on Rhao's helmet and he rides a horse, and inclusion of Kaiser knuckles too. So it a 50/50 that next time they meet Lidmael is going down for good.

No gods helping him, no inherit superhuman characteristics. Maybe the fact that GG is named that ends up empowering him thorough inherent symbolic connections, but from what we see the guy is just so insanely pissed off, and such a powerful creative mind, that his manifestation in the Dreamlands gets all the way to the most hidden and well guarded places imaginable just to beat your ass.
