>This was considered bottom of the barrel garbage in 2012
>>3921799It's still dogshit, what the fuck are you talking about?
In a couple more years your mom will let you try the 3D mode, anon
I was 32 in 2012.I never even knew this existed.
>>3921799With the power of hindsight we can look back and see that it really did suck shit through a straw
>>3921799the soul and creativity had been sucked out of the Mario Rpgs. It's a crying fucking shame,.
>>3921838boomer
>>3921799and is still garbage. It was funny seeing /v/ trying to say "look, this game was actually good all along" because the biggest critic got outed as a foot fetishist
>>3922748arlo?
>>3922792Chugga
>>3922748that makes his critiques more valid
>>3922830chugga was always a fucking sperg, I remember in one of his videos he mentioned that he lists his Youtube channel name on rent applications where they ask for aliases
>>3921799I tried to kill one boss without its big weakness sticker and ran out of stickers before I could win. I didn't really go in fully preparing and planning out the whole fight obviously, but that shouldn't be necessary for a normal playthrough. It really cemented the game as peak kusoge for me though. At best you could maybe use it in a class for game design as a negative example on what not to do for a video game.
Paper Jam was fantastic. You get 3 characters and it had a lot of love poured into it, although I guess all of these games do.I also enjoyed Brothership, though it wasn't my favorite it was still good and didn't deserve the hate it seemed to get.I do want a new Super Mario RPG style game though with a whole roster of characters and a cooler story.
>>3921799>rpg with no story, characters, stats, or reason to engage with the awful combatIt's one of those games that people would call you hyperbolic for saying it's easily one of the worst games ever made, but it really is.
for me its 64
>>3924531Paper Jam has really good/tough boss fights it's definitely slept on. Probably the best of the nu mario RPGs which isnt a high bar
>>3922748>It was funny seeing /v/ trying to say "look, this game was actually good all along" because the biggest critic got outed as a foot fetishist/v/ loves Chugga again, ever since he got exonerated. Helps that the "woman" who tried to cancel him was a troon too.
>>3922748>It was funny seeing /v/ trying to say "look, this game was actually good all along" because the biggest critic got outed as a foot fetishistThat was why? Suppose it was too much to expect anyone on /v/ might've actually played the game, or any games for that matter
>>3927283I played Sticker Star and it was ass but /v/would go "stop parroting Chugga"
>>3921799The only redeeming feature of this game, is that if you beat phase 2 Bowser without using Kersti, you have a moment after the fight, before the ending starts, where you can throw her in the trash. It is not worth playing the game to do this by a mile, but if fate dictates you must play it, you can do it.
