My uncle works at Bethesda, give me your honest ideas for making TES6 both a good RPG and a new normie magnet like Skyrim
>>3922617Improved engine that can handle more things on screen and more stuff happeningBring back spell creation and stats Add unique armor and weapon creation since that’s a big part of Redguard culture And that’s it. You don’t need to change too much just add in systems that make it a modern game.
>>3922617>give me your honest ideas for making TES6 both a good RPGfire literally everyone>and a new normie magnet like Skyrimdont make an RPG
Make an unskippable sex scene between a Nord woman and a Redguard sword singer
>>3922617>Make it more complicated than Skyrim. >Reintroduce fully fledged radiant AI and expand on it.>Make a larger world and make larger settlements.>Remove type a/b retardations>Don't chase paid modsSimple as that, and none of it will be implemented
>>3922617Kill your jeet uncle. That oughta do something good
>>3922617spellcrafting, less woke, more liftshertail
>>3924024fag
>>3922617bring back flying and super speed
>>3922617instead of tiny dungeons that you can explore in 5 minutes have one gigantic underworld like TOTK.also have an entire world in the sky to explore, like TOTK.also make crafting and building incredibly flexible and only limited by your imagination, like TOTK.
>>3922617>normie magnetAdd a collectible card game. Cards can be puchased all over Hammefell as regular trade goods.'Blank/soul' cards can be purchased from magical goods shops. You can transfer magical essence from soulgems to soulcards which creates a new card based on the monster/npc whose soul you captured and transferred. This is the primary way of acquiring high-level/rare cards.Soulcards can be burnt at certain shrines to receive blessings. The game is traditonally played in taverns and each tavern has variant rules/modifiers based on the local region. There's a special quest where you have to recover the card containing the essence of somebodies lover, you can do this by winning a game against the npc who holds the card, convincing them to give it to you, stealing it from their corpse or robbing it from their home when they're not carrying it. Do add some morale weight the current holder wasn't the one who trapped the soul but they're also a selfish bastard who is reluctant to give it up. Optional psychedelic quest where you get trapped in a card...How did I do???
>>3922617Full uncensored nudity.
>>3924230also genital sliders on character creation
>>3924223Remind me of Chaotic / Pokemon / Gwent
>>3924390I was actually thinking FF8 but the taverns spreading rules might have been too on the nose.
>>3922617Bring back spell crafting, it's what made Morrowind so magical (pun intended)
>bring back guild ranks>bring back stats >get rid of radiant quests>smaller world but more content>less quests but more ways to complete them
>>3924223Don't know how long would a card game that partly relies on trapping living things' souls survive. The second someone crossed the legal line with black souls, it'd be over. But on the general idea, yeah a card minigame would add reasons to explore and care about some minutiae.
>>3924451The combination of bad, magicka inefficient stock spells and exploitability was why Morrowind's spellcrafting was magical.I can guarantee people won't be satisfied with the return of spellcrafting.
>>3922617I see a lot of joke comments, but I will say my genuine desire.Give faction quests the attention they deserve.>Keep them lore-accurate (looking at you Companions)>Actually interesting characters>Bring back guild ranks (if required for the faction) and require a certain amount of radiant faction quests to rank up>Side quests within the Faction itself. Not radiant quests, but stuff like "A fellow Fighter's Guild member wants assistance with their assigned quest, help them clear out the Goblin cave" or whatever. >Give a reward for quests useful to the "class" associated with it (i.e. Muffle boots for Thieves Guild, a Battleaxe for Fighters, a spell tome for Mages) >Faction-specific merchants that sell useful and unique gear. >Romance options, both male and female in each faction.>A place to stay (Skyrim Mage's Guild dorm room type of thing) >Maybe even add random events related to them, like how you can find Cicero early on the side of the road.
>>3922617You need to make it with modern audiences in mind. For example how about black skinned nords and inclusion of transsexuals into Dunmer lore.
>>3924866incorrect.
I want to be able to have children and giving birth should be a mini-game if you play a female character.
>>3925228>fighting while pregnant>your stamina bar reduces to 90% and keeps dropping until you give birth>you need to lie down every once in a while>you get cravings for giant's toes, slaughterfish and mudcrabsThere also needs to be a feature where you lose a limb and have to play without it
>>3922617bethsoft is fucked they are done forever lmao
>>3922617there's literally nothing you can do.1. The engine will be dated2. The gameplay will be dated3. The writing will be terrible4. The story plotline will be terrible5. The cities will be 5% of the size of rockstar or CDPR city size6. Loading screens every 5 secondsYou could make every aspect of it dated and average as fuck as long as the story was hitting hard but you SIMPLY CANNOT DO THIS anymore. Everything is faggy as fuck. The entire AAA dev world forgot how to write masculine realistic stories.4.
If you're just using Skyrim as a base, all I really want that isn't nitpicky shit is spell variety in general, athletics and acrobatics back, and something to make combat actually interesting or feel any actual sense of danger (which is a pretty big ask for an elder scrolls game). I would prefer things like guild quests weren't about climbing your way to what should be an office/administrative position that you never actually do anything with, and are more about being able to get special status/favors from the given organizations, but I don't see them doing that.
>>3928074>guild quests weren't about climbing your way to what should be an office/administrative position that you never actually do anything with
i no longer care about Bugthesdashart.
>>3927964>muh engine
>>3922617AFK Play FeatureYou push a button and the game plays itself without your input so you dont have to make any of those complicated decisions.
>>3924024Out board pajeet is at it again.
Make it Daggerfall 2, everything genned and massive
>>3928074>something to make combat actually interesting or feel any actual sense of dangerDifficulty settings. Apparently Starfield added more things you can tweak, like how much damage enemies do etc.
>>3924093>introduce fully fledged radiant AI and expand on itAre you talking about the radiant quests? Like the ones from Skyrim. Those are extremely boring.
>>3928582Most aren't so bad, since they're just an excuse to get you to go to the various dungeons that otherwise you only go through for the sake of exploration. The only radiant quests that really sucked were the ones for just random tasks like the thieves guild and companions. Even the thieves guild is sort of in the spirit of the guild since it's just about stealing special targets. The companions ones are complete dogshit though
>>3928159>Difficulty settingsThat just makes enemies soak and deal more damage. It just makes combat longer and more resource intensive, not more engaging. Enemies' IA remains unchanged.
>>3927964>1. The engine will be dated>2. The gameplay will be dated>3. The writing will be terrible>4. The story plotline will be terrible>5. The cities will be 5% of the size of rockstar or CDPR city size>6. Loading screens every 5 secondsAnd even if they aren't, we'll make sure everyone believes they are. The game WON'T be a success if /v/ has something to say about it.
>>3922617extra hot chocolate mamacitas since it'll be in Hammerfell
>>3928588Yea I'm still not picking up what you're putting down. I would rather play a single handcrafted quest over 9999999 ai slop filler quests any day of the week.
>>3928858I'm not defending AI quests or the person who said they wanted them. I just don't think Skyrim's radiant quests deserved that bad of a reputation since they just would be the NPC randomly pointing you towards some dungeon that actually was hand crafted most of the time
>>3922617Outsource all development to India.
>>3928868What quests are you referring to though? I can think of a lot of radiant quests that dont operate that way, taking you to handcrafted dungeons and so forth. >Dark BrotherhoodGo to random location usually in a city, kill someone>Thieves GuildGo to random location usually in a city, steal something >CompanionsGo to random location usually a city, kill an animal.
