One of the very few endearing parts of the game. The big problem with FFXV is that there is literally nothing there. It is a hollow story about absolutely nothing, with no stakes, no arcs and no depth. It has a less fleshed out story than FF2.

According the the rumors, while it was still Versus XIII, there was also an attack on a vault to steal the crystal using "Holy" to break in. Not many people notice it. But Vayne also uses something akin to the "Royal Arms". FF16 teased something similar with Joshua's sword being part of a set. But it never panned out.
