Is he right?
Seeing that the N64 was a flop and the console playerbase are full of depresed cultist trannies that only like the same 3 games. No, he wasn't right.
>>3925937IIRC, the context was about the type of games Nintendo wants to make. I think they were going for a "social gaming" brand. I vaguely remember the commercials for the Wii and how unreal it represented "players".It was like, smiling college students in stylish clothes having a rooftop party, and they're tossing a wii remote around like a baton or hot potato. The forum I was on back then had a laugh about it. Because it wasn't a kid's sleep-over party. The Nintendo might have been the most affordable home console - but only if it stays home. Taking it to college parties...it's going to get lost, broken, or stolen. Right? The economy has probably crashed 3 times since then too.
>>3925937Fucking hypocrite. He only said this because Square left for a much better console than slop64. I don't think he disliked the money from CT or FFVI
>>3925937I guess some random encounter grindfest would be mindnumbing to watch someone play.
Completely correct, when people play a genre they only play games in that genre and never play other games, or even activities.
>>3925937I mean... yeah, sorta
I don't consider myself a gamer
>>3925937Nintendo didn't want those loser FFVII players anyway.

>>3925937>Is he right?Probably. Although I'm not alone. My cat likes to chill with me while I play.
>>3925937I'm not depressed
>>3925937About what? He just told the world that he's illiterate and has the attention span of a gnat. Why should anyone care about his rambling stream of consciousness comments? Let alone us.
