Which is the best Xenoblade game, if I were going to get one game which one should that be? I am new to this series, it seems to me it's like of like a singleplayer MMO style of game, which focuses on exploration?
just start with the original Xenoblade Chronicles, or the DE remaster. It's the best all-around game. X has better exploration and atmosphere; 2 has coomer gacha and waifus.

Xenogears. Xenoblade combat is just mmo style shit. The story also gets too much animu past the first one because the wife left the team.

>>3929357The story became like that because Takahashi understood that the audience wasn't ready for that kind of story telling sadly. Gears and Saga are amazing, but we all know disc 2 and episode 2 killing Saga. But the themes are still there, under a much more "lighthearted" style

They all have their merits and weaknesses. I prefer 2 the most. If you like exploration, X is the best. 1 is a good choice too.
