First of all, it's SOLIDER in all caps. 2nd of all, it was a total failure that was replaced by the Tsviets of Deepground. But they are high maintenance too. But if we're going by strength and not life expectancy. SOLIDERs should put up a good fight in theory. Before they "burn out".SeeD is probably closer to the Turks. Considering Edea was originally created for FF7 and associated with turk/wutai prototypes (Fujin and Raijin), thats basically what they are.

S'why I mentioned Rinoa being the closest one to having ALL of Hyne's legacy by the end of FF8. It's NEAT, especially since Rinoa's limit break changes into a full-on primal magic form.

Ultimecia's castle also has a clock tower that points to 3 and 8, though that's more direct homage like Hyne and Hein.Fun, eh? Squenix does this a lot. 7 and 10, 3 and 8.
