In my entire life, not one stranger has ever given me a quest, an enchanted item, or gold as a reward for anything. What am I doing wrong?
>>3939018>not one stranger has ever given me a questSkill issue
>>3939018I want make an RPG where the main character improve by himself and become OP but he can't find any good quest, only shitty and low paid, and I will call "modern day"
>>3939018The emperor didn't burn down your village because your bloodline isn't a threat to the dynasty.
>>3939030WowSo korean manhuwa pilled
I once helped a stranger start his car at a parking lot. his start engine was busted so I pushed his car with my mate until he got it running.0 exp 0 gold received.
>>3939018maybe you're meant to be a quest giver
I only get little quests, like the other day when I helped a girl to unload her truck and I got a "thanks" and a smile
>>3939060Maybe it's a hidden skill
>>3939085ooohgirl smiles are such a great reward
You're not the MC, you're a level 1 goblin at best
>>3939018How many complete strangers have you walked up to and asked?
>>3939124I've never seen the "talk" option when I walk into town
>>3939129>>3939124need me an anime where an autistic teenage boy asks for quests in real life, and people end up endeared to him
>>3939018>not responding to missing pet signs and doing the find a cat quests
>see girl in need of saving from an orc>"wait why is she with an orc in the first place?">pretend like I saw nothing and keep walkingSometimes you have to know when to fight or flee from a random encounter in urban sides of the map

>>3939018You need to live in JapanYou actually get Yakuza style quests just walking around there, countless strange old men, clearly chinese hookers saying theyre japanese, clearly chinese old women shilling definitely illegal chinese hookers, maids waving posters in your face, theres tons of questsJust have to be careful not to take any your underlevelled for like drunk salarymen at 6 in the morning or strange probably-yakuza openly carrying what look like katanas in shinjuku
>>3939018Try checking sites like Craigslist or Facebook, I'm pretty sure people post what could be considered "quests" there. But most people aren't going to trust a stranger to take care of their business for them or give them a fancy reward for it.I always found it a bit strange how in many RPGs, NPCs are quick to give away priceless family heirlooms and powerful artifacts, but then again players have been conditioned to expect those sort of rewards.
>>3939018you look like an npc
>>3939018the other day I was at the supermarket and a lady asked me to hold her purse for a couple of minutesI just stood there with her purseshe came back after a couple of minutes and thanked me for holding her purseI also get asked to get stuff from the top shelves all the timeI like feeling useful
>>3940098That must be a CHA-based quest because I never get asked anything
>>3939018I bought a flat once. That was a fucking epic quest all right. I was running around like fucking Usain Bolt, for multiple quest-givers at once.
>>3939018>goldThey bamboozled you into taking paper instead.
