>>3939268The other sidequests there should be enough for you to earn 1000. If you spend that money or you're still unable to earn that much, you can do a little job for the guys at the gate
>>3939268Sell the hand grenade and flashbangs you get in a cave near the crash-landing, sell stuff from robbers you kill during Doc Smith's quest (unequip their clothes from equipment icon rather than regular inventory), scavenge loot from the Betsy's mine. If you have invested into gunsmithing, you can also grind cash with making flintlocks from trash.I never bother, I always either get expert in firearms and shoot the bandits on the bridge, do their quest or convince them that I'm one of the Tarrant's thieves guild members. If i'm desperate, I just panic dance them around a lit dynamite till it takes them out.
